To be honest, I think it helped that it had been months and months since I’d read Shatter Me, so I’d actually forgotten how cruel Warner really was. But beyond that, Unravel Me is a book that will, somehow, force you to love the bad guy despite your better judgement. It’s like BAM big reveal, BAM bigger reveal, BAM your mind = blown. For starters, Tahereh Mafi drops about 8 bombs on us in this book. Decisions that might involve choosing between her heart-and Adam's life. In this exhilarating sequel to Shatter Me, Juliette has to make life-changing decisions between what she wants and what she thinks is right. Or from Warner, who wants Juliette more than she ever thought possible. But Juliette will never be free from her lethal touch. She's finally free from The Reestablishment, free from their plan to use her as a weapon, and free to love Adam. It is a place for people like her-people with gifts-and it is also the headquarters of the rebel resistance.
